Faculty’s Scientific Board:

• discusses the draft strategic plan of the Faculty developed in accordance with the strategic plan of the public university, and the draft annual plan for realisation of the Faculty’s strategic plan,
• approves the proposals for study programmes to be established at the Faculty, and forwards them via the Rector to the public university‘s Scientific Board for approval,
• proposes to the Rector the intention to submit an application for accreditation, the extension of the validity accreditation for study programmes carried out at the Faculty,
• proposes to the Rector the intention to submit an application for accreditation of habilitation procedures and professor appointment procedures, in the case of procedures conducted at the Faculty,
• exercises the competence in the habilitation procedure and the professor appointment procedure to the extent stipulated by the Higher Education Act.
